This free admission event included vendors, sweets and baked goods, music, a business expo, and even Renton school run volunteer pumpkin painting for the kids. The weather played along sportingly with spurts of sunshine on the temperate fall day.
I've wanted to photograph this event for some time. I purchased a few goodies: a chai tea for us and a ginger/citrus tea for our friends' housewarming party from Theo Dorres Aromatics, and a lotus necklace made on a scrabble piece. Afterwards I enjoyed lunch, veggie biryani rice, from Naan-N-Curry down the street. I like walking about downtown.
Special thanks to Renton dignitaries and staff, Piazza Renton, artisans, volunteers, participants, and various event sponsors and organizers for enhancing local quality of life in Renton!
The Harvest Festival at the Piazza showcases yet another reason why I Love Renton and Renton is a great place to live, work, and play, but don't take my word for it. Be sure to attend next year's festival, and keep your ear on the ground for upcoming holiday events.
As the Season turns,
and the Leaves Fall,
keep your Spirits up!
