I especially enjoyed the Ship Point Night Market, the professional street performers, and that the city bustled at night with people everywhere. Remember: If you stop and listen to a set, or photograph a street performer, please tip them. It's their livelihood! Also pause to enjoy the Legislature Building at night, appreciate the cityscape at sunset, and visit the downtown shops and eateries.
Want to visit Victoria? Travellers can utilize transportation to Victoria via a variety of transports including Kenmore Air, the Victoria Clipper, Washington State Ferries, Coho Blackball Ferry (connecting the Olympic Peninsula with Victoria via Pt. Angeles) or BC Ferries. We chose BC Ferries for our journey. Just be aware that arriving in Sidney, BC means you will need to drive via car or bus to the Inner Harbor. Travelling by car means you pay more to board the ferries, for gas, and time, but, comparatively, cost seems a wash as air or Clipper tickets tend to be more expensive than ferry tickets. So travel to Victoria based on your preference. I liked the large sundeck and laid-back ride of BC Ferries for a close-up view of the scenic Gulf Islands.
