Olympia | Washington State Capital

Hi Colleagues,

Enjoy this pixel-roll of our visit to Washington state's capital city, Olympia, on our way to Hood CanalPort Angeles, and Hurricane Ridge on the Olympic Peninsula:

We last visited the state capital in 2000 when we attended the Governor's Prayer Breakfast with WA Student Leadership when undergraduates at the University of Washington, and heard from then Gov. Gary Locke (now US Secretary of Commerce), Kim Phuc, survivor of Vietnam War and founder of The KIM Foundation, and Ron Sims, then King County Executive and 2009-2011 appointed and confirmed Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Here's a few albeit dated pixels from that event:

The great Pacific Northwest Region showcases many sites to see.  Be free to visit and share here what you discover!
