Mt. Rainier National Park

Hi Colleagues,

Enjoy this pixel-roll of Mt. Rainier National Park:

This post contributes to my Community ProfileThe trip was worth the winding roads and the seemingly unending return drive.  After a distressing week, which was allegedly our vacation, we decided to take our stress out on the Mountain. It was big, beautiful, and spansive enough!  We paused to eat lunch and gain our bearings in what seemed a more larger in height, yet smaller in width, world.  Actually, at first it felt as though I was standing on top of a very large ball, you know, the blue and green one called E-arth. :D

Once acclimated to the elevation, I breathed in the fresh air, hiked for four hours, and enjoyed scene after scene of impressive alpine wildflowers, snow-capped and mist-ensconced peaks, and evergreen trees that lived up to their name.  I love Mt. Rainier for the invigorating fresh air and the freedom I feel in climbing "higher up and farther in..."  Mt. Rainier is the Pacific Northwest's own Narnia; you must visit it sometime!

Cheers to Happy Hiking,
