Recently I enjoyed attending Gonzaga University's Career Trek for Seattle, Wash. at the Renaissance Hotel as put on by the Career Center and Gonzaga Alumni Mentor Program (a.k.a. "GAMP"). Over two days, I attended a non-profit panel at the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum (known by locals as the EMP), a social with students, alumni, professors, alumni mentors, and employers, a women's symposium, and a career fair. Here's a few pixels aside from being busy networking and participating:

I appreciate Gonzaga's polished efforts to connect students, recent graduates, and alumni with each other and with potential employers. I benefited from the women who shared their insights and experience on special challenges that women face in the workplace, among other helpful advice. I even won a book!
Thank you to my new friends and colleagues who connected with me at this event and who have helped me to build my resume. I highly recommend attending next year's Treks in Portland or Seattle. Want to stay in the loop for future events by the Career Center? Check out their social media channels.
