Vision House Christmas Party

I enjoyed photographing Vision House staff at their Christmas Party.  Be sure to consider supporting this community organization that works to end homelessness by transforming lives and empowering people to live sustainably.  Since 1990 Vision House has provided transitional housing with integrated support services to homeless single mothers and their children and separately to homeless single men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.

Here are some favorites from their well-deserved Christmas party last night at ACME bowl:

Vision House celebrates a 20 year history together (above 26 photos)
Here's a Facebook link for the rest of the images from the Christmas Party!  I consider it a privelege and pleasure to support this organization in pixels.  Besides, what better way to celebrate finishing my master's program than by photographing VH's Christmas Party?  So I enjoyed the timing:  I finished my thesis seminar and orals, and this time last year I collaborated with Vision House for a communication report and photos.  I'm grateful to this organization for its work to empower persons as I've experienced this supportive spirit from them, and so I'm glad to support them where I can.

... what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

~ Micah 6:8

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

~ James 1:27
